10 Weeks

I’ve released music every week for ten weeks in a row now, pretty cool stuff. Also, thank you to anyone who has bought any merch from the store. Hoping to get a little more ahead of the game and accompany merch to release at the same time as the music release that it coincides with but ya know, it’s busy enough just keeping up with the music. Regardless I have no plans to slow down on music for awhile, though there was a few days where all the music i tried to make just kinda sucked, so the flow of creativity has slowed down a little. But have no fear I’ll just keep on keeping on and eventually it’ll come back.

ummmmmmm…… Things are going pretty well overall though, I started filming little vlog videos and was thinking maybe of doing vlogs that also have little music videos in them? I’m not sure if anyone has really done anything like that but I think it could be an interesting way to create content that would engage the audience with me on a more personal day to day level while also keeping the music tied into it. The only issue there is the time consuming part of now not only releasing weekly music and designing merch and working the job that actually pays me to live. so that might be a little while.

I haven’t really touched the MWBC project in awhile but I’m going to be bringing it back at some point this year and this is the first song demo I’ve recorded for it. I’m trying to figure out how to properly record singing and playing guitar simultaneously? I’m sure it’s only a quick internet search away so I’ll get there. I don’t think this sounds terrible but i went back over and sang another vocal track over top of the track of me playing and singing? I think there is a better way to go about it for mixing purposes. Okay I’m rambling now here’s the lyrics:

Welcome to my website

So I’ve created this website to be a home for all of my work. Right now I have multiple ads running to gain traction to try and get my music out to the world. I truly believe in the vision I have for my art and in this internet world we all exist in, I feel like I have trouble navigating promotion on my social media accounts. I do my best to keep up with promotion via Reels and shit but it all feels so…… idk boring. There are templates that need to be followed in order to wiggle your way into the algorithm and if you don’t use those specific templates you’ll just get lost in an endless ocean of other people posting.

Anyways…. life is going pretty well. I think after all the years I am finally realizing that music and art are the only things I want to do with life. I mean I’ve known that all along but something just hit me recently that while I’ve always said that and felt like it would come true…… I wasn’t putting in the proper steps to making my vision a reality. But let’s not dwell on the past. Moving forward is the only way. This friday will be my fifth week in a row of releasing music. I’ve been alternating with instrumental EPs and singles with vocals either solo or with the Sewa family. Uhhhhhhhh I think maybe I might try posting demos & works in progress on this blog page if I can figure out how, possibly with a link to a google drive file or something. IDK IDK IDK only time will tell.
